The Wine Cellar began welcoming customers in March of 1973. Although founded by both Dale’s parents, it was his mother that christened the name. Dale began tinkering at the Wine Cellar as just a child; dusting bottles and drinking orange crush with his dad. Dale ascended to part time in 1979 and his father Victor semi-retired in 1982. It was then that Victor’s son David managed until his passing in March of 2000. On July 1st, 2000 Dale along with his wife Lori purchased the store from Victor and his wife. With the addition of a new store front 2009, interior remodeling (including wine racks) in 2004, and the construction of the walk-in cooler in 2008, our establishment continues to grow. Renowned for our wine selection, most notably our Cabernet Sauvignon selection, we also offer Maplewood Meats beef sticks, bratwurst, sausage, and a comprehensive assortment of cheeses.
